浦川ゼミでは、医療・介護・保育・雇用などの社会保障政策や教育政策に注目し、それらの政策が人々の生活、地域経済、格差・貧困とどのように結びついているのかを実際のデータを分析しながら考える活動を行っています。

社会保障制度や教育制度の政策効果を検証する際は、統計学や計量経済学の知識が重要になります。社会保障や教育・福祉の分野に関心がある学生、統計学や計量経済学の分析ツールをもとに実践的な計量分析の手法を学びたい学生の入ゼミを歓迎します。

For Underguraduate Students

The Urakawa Seminar focuses on social security policies such as healthcare, long-term care, childcare, and employment, as well as education policies. Through analysis of real-world data, we examine how these policies are connected to people’s lives, local economies, and issues of inequality and poverty.

Statistical and econometric knowledge is essential for evaluating the policy effects of social security and education systems. We welcome students who are interested in social security, education, and welfare fields, as well as those who wish to learn practical quantitative analysis methods using statistical and econometric tools.
